Our LHS Key Club students continue to make a huge impact in our community through service projects and volunteer hours all year long. From supporting local events to lending a helping hand wherever needed, this group embodies what it means to serve others.
This weekend they brought a sweet treat to the Youth Grill Off—hand-churned vanilla ice cream, made the old-school way, and shared free samples with the crowd!
We are proud of these students for their hard work, leadership, and commitment to service. Thank you, Key Club, for showing what Eagle pride looks like in action!

San Antonio ISD has cancelled tonight’s varsity football game. We will work to reschedule any special events that were planned for tonight’s game. We are in communication with HomeTown Ticketing on advance purchased tickets and will share that information when we have it.

Today, we honor the memory of those who lost their lives and the bravery of the first responders who answered the call. We also reflect on the importance of teaching our students about resilience, unity, and compassion—values that continue to guide us as a community.
Together, we remember. Together, we stand.

The Luling High School marching band is hard at work, practicing their amazing show with energy and precision. Each day, the sound of drums, brass, and woodwinds fills the air as the students perfect every step and note while the color guard flags fly high in the air. Their commitment and passion are evident in every rehearsal, promising a standout performance that will leave the crowd cheering.

The Student Council Homecoming Charity Drive was a huge success! Students, staff, and community members donated 4,766 lbs / 5,700+ items to the Luling Food Pantry! It took 5 vehicle loads to deliver it all, and the Food Pantry was so thankful and excited! 💚

We are aware of the presence of bees at the football stadium and understand your concerns. The district is working with a bee relocation company to safely remove any hives once they are located. If you identify the location of a hive, please contact Central Office immediately so we can address it appropriately. 830-875-3191
Because the stadium is outdoors, we cannot guarantee complete removal of all bees at this time. Bees are generally not aggressive and will leave you alone if you leave them alone, but we still ask everyone to remain cautious and aware of your surroundings when attending events. Please avoid areas where bees may be more active, and if you have allergies, take extra precautions.

Your support means so much to our students and staff. We were also thrilled to have Mayor Watts and City Manager McLaughlin join us—what an amazing show of community partnership!

Luling High School students have hit the ground running during their first full week of school! With energy and determination, they’ve been diving into new classes, tackling challenging assignments, and embracing opportunities to learn and grow. Their hard work and positive attitude set a strong tone for the year ahead, showing that Luling High is ready for success from day one. #RaiseTheBarOwnTheResults

Don’t let hunger slow you down! Swing by the cafeteria for breakfast and lunch — it’s the easiest way to stay full and ready to crush the day.

At Luling High School, Principal Gonzalez is taking a hands-on approach to student engagement and success by hosting grade-level convocations at the start of the school year. These gatherings provide a focused space for students to hear directly from campus leadership about expectations, goals, and the resources available to support their academic and personal growth. By meeting with each grade level individually, Principal Gonzalez ensures that the message is tailored to students’ unique stages in the high school journey—from setting a strong foundation for freshmen to preparing seniors for life beyond graduation. The initiative reflects Luling High School’s commitment to fostering a supportive, informed, and connected school community.

A huge THANK YOU to our amazing Luling ISD School Board members who came out this morning to help on our campuses for the first day of school! Whether greeting students or lending a hand, they helped make the morning special for our kids.
Not every member could be there in person today, but each one wanted to—and that’s just one more reason we say it proudly: we have the BEST school board!
