Today we celebrate two amazing members of our Gerdes Junior High School family – Ms. Lucy and Ms. Eva!
These incredible women work tirelessly to keep our school clean, safe, and beautiful every single day. Their dedication, hard work, and smiles make a huge difference in our school community. We are so lucky to have them!

The Gerdes Jr. High wants to congratulate these students for their accomplishment of September Band Students of the Month!
Eliyanna Rios is a 7th Grade Baritone who's sound is the warmth of the Band! She contributes a solid foundation to the ensemble with her stellar low-reinforcement! Congratulations Eliyanna, September Varsity Band Student of the Month!
Braycen Staton is a 7th Grade Trumpetist who is shining with the melody! He contributes excellent listening skills, textbook-perfect trumpet sound, and characteristic performing! Awesome job Braycen, September Non-Varsity Band Student of the Month!
Gabriela Polk is a 7th Grade Beginner Band student who is Sticking to the Beat! She provides exemplary skills in class including rhythm translation, pulsing, and correct hand technique when playing her Percussion instruments. Way to go Gabby, September Beginner Band Student of the Month!

Students enjoyed using their House tokens for a VIP lunch experience, where they could invite a friend and relax in a special section of the cafeteria. It's great to see them making the most of their House rewards!










Matt Andresen, the visionary behind the two new golf courses being built, has generously donated a significant sum to Luling ISD. The donation was used for new instruments for the band and upgraded science tables for classrooms. Huge THANK YOU to our newest partner in education!
