At tonight's board meeting, the Spotlight Students and Staff were honored. Fifth grade math teacher Terri Crowell is the Spotlight Staff of the Month. The Spotlight Students are second grader Odalya Garcia, eighth grader Nathan Renteria, and tenth grader Dominik Anderson. The Gerdes Jr. High Band had an amazing end of the week full of musical excellence! In just two short days, Seventh and Eighth Grade Band students performed at their own Jr. High Pep-Rally, a Luling HS Pep-Rally combined with the LHS Eagle Band, and an LHS Football Game in the stands and on the field during Halftime. GJH Band students contributed immensely to all events participated in and showcased fantastic attention to detail and discipline. Great job everyone!! 🎼🎶

The GJHS Fall Pep Rally was a blast, filled with games, House spirit, and plenty of Eagle pride!
Our Cheer and Dance teams lit up the floor, the Band brought the energy, and our GJHS mascot had everyone smiling! Each House jumped into the fun, competing in games that brought out our school’s excitement and spirit.
The District Steering Committee met to focus on enhancing the student experience! We were thrilled to have 4 HS students join us, sharing invaluable insights on their journey through our schools.
