The Luling Eagle Cross Country Team competed at the Medina Valley invitational this morning and did some serious WORK!
Meadow Guillen, Zoe Pardo, & Karina Ramirez kicked the day off in the small school Varsity division. Meadow Guillen led the group with a 5th place finish and a PR time of 12:50 for 2 miles.
In the small school Varsity boys, our men took 7th/18 teams. Miguel Silva Hernandez took 1st overall out of the 157 participants in the race with a blazing 15:34 for 5k.
In our JV divisions, Wendy Santamaria, Jessica Aguilar, Ellyana Pardo, Will Bryant, and Kirk Campbell all dropped seasons bests out on the course for their respective 2mile/5k distances!
Our youngest athletes, 8th grader Jaicee Pardo and 7th grade Gavin Fischer both ran great and ran season’s bests.
ALL CROSS COUNTRY RUNNERS RAN SEASONS BESTS TODAY, ALL 21 OF THEM! 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
