Happy National Custodian Appreciation Day!
This morning, our Central Office team made the rounds with breakfast to celebrate the incredible custodians who take such great care of our schools every day!
Because our custodians have staggered schedules, we couldn’t catch everyone for a picture—but don’t worry, we made sure everyone got breakfast! 😊 Some of our amazing team may be missing from the photos, but they are definitely not missing from our appreciation.
Thank you to our custodial team for everything you do behind the scenes and all across Luling ISD. We appreciate you more than you know!

Last night we celebrated our students who earned a perfect score of 10 on their 2026 STAAR Writing!
Not a good score. Not even a great score. But a PERFECT SCORE! These students demonstrated exceptional writing skills and should be incredibly proud of what they achieved.
A special thank you to Patterson Plumbing for providing the awesome yard signs for our Perfect 10 students!

6th and 7th grade Science classes were all in with hands on Science Labs! Inquiry in action!
Our talented band students are working hard, growing their skills, and bringing their music to life! There’s something special about walking past the band hall and hearing great music ringing through the streets!
Our SEPAC (Special Education Parent Advisory Committee) had an amazing turnout for the 1st meeting of the year! 💚 If you were unable to attend & still want to get involved, please reach out to Mrs. Aldis for info on upcoming events! Info on next meeting will be shared soon!

Just a reminder! Students will have early release, followed by no school the next day while our staff participates in professional learning to continue to improve what we do for students!
Mrs. Davis’ art students are combining creativity with our House System! Students are designing movie posters that represent the traits and values of their Houses, while using their Chromebooks as light boards to bring their designs to life.
Creativity, technology, and House pride all in one lesson!

Today, Luling ISD joins our nation in honoring Patriot Day and remembering the lives lost on September 11, 2001.
We remember the innocent lives taken far too soon and the first responders who ran toward danger to help others. We also remember the strength and unity our country showed in the days that followed.
May we never forget the lives lost and the courage shown that day. 🇺🇸

Our district admin and campus principals had the opportunity to learn from George Couros, author of Forward, Together. We’re committed to continuing to learn and challenge our thinking as we work to build an even stronger community across Luling ISD.
A big thank you to Marion ISD for the invitation and the opportunity to learn alongside and collaborate with educators from neighboring districts. There’s so much value in sharing ideas and learning from one another!
One Team. All In.
