What an amazing way to wrap up the school year! PK Water Day was a splash hit! Our youngest students had a blast cooling off while the Luling FD turned on the hoses and brought the fun. Huge thanks to our firefighters for making the day unforgettable! Grades 3–5 Field Day brought out the energy and team spirit. From relays to games and lots of laughter, our students gave it their all and enjoyed every minute! Chromebook turn-in at the high school went smoothly as students returned their devices and wrapped up the year responsibly. Thank you to our tech team and staff for making the process efficient and easy! We’re so proud of all our students and staff for finishing strong. Have a safe and fun summer!

April and May ended on a high note with some exceptional student leadership.
Five students stepped into the role of Principal for the Day, taking on the challenge with energy and enthusiasm. Whether they were helping with our House tie-dye event, preparing for Field Day, visiting classrooms, or supporting campus operations, each student demonstrated pride and commitment in handling the daily responsibilities of school leadership.

It’s the last full week of school—don’t tap out now!
Fuel up with breakfast and lunch in the cafeteria so you can finish strong (and not faint in 6th period).

Today we celebrate the love and dedication of all the amazing moms and mother figures in our community. Thank you for the endless support you give our students each and every day.

In 2023, Luling ISD proudly partnered with Texas State University to launch an exciting opportunity for two of our educators through the Emergent Leaders Program — a unique Master’s in Educational Leadership with Principal Certification.
This innovative program is designed to prepare equity-driven school leaders ready to transform education at both the campus and district level. The 36-hour M.Ed. course sequence focuses on leadership, instructional strategies, cultural competency, community engagement, and action research — all aligned to meet the specific needs of Luling ISD.
As part of our commitment to growing future leaders, Luling ISD covered 50% of the tuition for each teacher.
Samantha Segovia and Garrett Kurtis will successfully complete the program and earn their Master’s degree this month!
Please join us in congratulating them on this incredible achievement!

Our students' amazing creativity was on display last night at the Third Annual Performing Arts Visual Arts Showcase (PAVA)! Attendees listened to the junior high and high school bands and our fifth grade students' ukulele performances, watched the fashion show exhibiting the creativity of our costumers and the movie trailer they produced, and also viewed the various mediums of visual arts students created. We are so proud of our students and grateful to everyone who came out to support their talents. Thank you for helping us celebrate the power of the arts!

Happy nurse appreciation day to our best, Nurse Massey!

We are proud to announce that Luling ISD is officially a Teacher Incentive Allotment (TIA) district — and we are celebrating our first group of 11 outstanding educators who have earned TIA designations through this rigorous program!
To mark the occasion, we pulled out all the stops for a surprise reveal that truly matched the moment:
- Our amazing Luling High School Drumline set the tone with high energy
- Cheerleaders brought the spirit
- Board members, district leaders, and campus administrators were on hand to celebrate
- Each designated teacher received flowers, a cake, a district sweatshirt, and a giant custom poster proudly displaying their designation level
The Teacher Incentive Allotment is part of a statewide effort to recognize and reward teacher excellence. Designated teachers receive a significant annual increase to their salary and keep that designation for five years.
We are incredibly proud of them and excited about what this means for the future of our students and staff. We are working to expand the eligibility to more and more teachers each year.
Please join us in congratulating our first TIA teachers!
