In Ms. Williams’ Technology Applications class, students put their skills to the test in a fun challenge, handwriting versus typing! Students raced to see which was faster and more accurate, while also discovering why strong typing skills are such an important tool for success in school and beyond.

Starting off our homecoming week in style, rocking our pajamas to show our school spirit!

Our 7th graders had their math in motion today, and the energy was awesome! Small groups were buzzing as students worked through problems, explained their thinking, and helped each other out. It’s great to see math turn into teamwork and problem-solving in action!

Our first of two meetings this school year will be held in October and we would love to have your feedback!

Our 8th grade science students are diving into the microscopic world! This week, they’ve been learning all about cells—the building blocks of life—and using microscopes to observe them up close. Hands-on experiences like this help students connect classroom learning with real-world science.

What an exciting time to get some more of our students sorted into the house system!

Breakfast and lunch are FREE for ALL students this school year!
The cafeteria’s got you covered, so don’t skip the most important meals of the day.

Our new School ID initiative is here!
IDs improve campus security and make lunch lines faster with barcode scanning. Students must wear their ID during the school day. Lost IDs can be replaced by seeing an administrator.

Our 6th grade students are sharpening their metacognitive skills in an engaging way! Using thought-provoking pictures, they practiced asking meaningful questions, evaluating details, and monitoring their own comprehension. Activities like this help students become more reflective and strategic thinkers, setting them up for success across all subjects! #RaisethebarOwntheResults

A huge THANK YOU to our amazing Luling ISD School Board members who came out this morning to help on our campuses for the first day of school! Whether greeting students or lending a hand, they helped make the morning special for our kids.
Not every member could be there in person today, but each one wanted to—and that’s just one more reason we say it proudly: we have the BEST school board!
